I love Pinterest! It is my favorite social media platform, although it truly isn’t a social media platform at all. But we will get to that later!
I have been a member of Pinterest for personal use for several years. My favorite thing is scrolling through my feed and finding new things to try. I love that I can search for something I need and have tons of search results that perfectly solve my problem.
How did Pinterest Get It’s Start?
According to Wikipedia: “Pinterest is a web and mobile application startup that operates a software system designed to discover information on the World Wide Web. Registration is required for use. The site was founded by Ben Silbermann, Paul Sciarra and Evan Sharp.
Pinterest CEO Ben Silbermann summarized the company as a “catalog of ideas,” rather than as a social network, that inspires users to “go out and do that thing.”

How do I use Ads on Pinterest?
Pinterest ads are called Promoted Pins. You can turn any pin into an ad. Just like the rest of Pinterest, promoted pins can take a little time to get going. But, unlike any other social media, your promoted pins stay on the platform (as saves) and continue to work even after you stop paying. How awesome is that!
